Working Special Magic

While the soccer season is coming to a close for the Magic United under-10's,     team-mates Baillie de Cinque and Daniel Batho are putting in hard and fast yards to fulfill their sporting dreams.

The two soccer fanatics began a professional athletes training course only five weeks ago called 'Fast Feet', and already they are starting to see improvements in their game. Aimed at getting athletes to use their core strength and arms to improve running and reflexes, 'Fast Feet' has a number of different exercises that require sportspeople to combine running, ball handling and control.

Bailie said he already felt fitter and stronger on the field. "We started training five weeks ago and I feel like I'm fitter when playing and some soccer moves just come naturally now," said Bailie.

Both Bailie and Daniel plan to continue their 'Fast Feet' training during the soccer off-season and help their team to another great win loss record.

This season, the team has only lost one game and is hoping to finish at the top of the table with one game left to play.

"It is nice to know that the hard work Daniel and myself put into 'Fast Feet' is rewarded when we play for the team," said Bailie.
