"Why a KNVB Dutch Vision for Australian Football"
When FFA chairman Frank Lowie announced that Guus Hiddink a Coach from Holland was the New Socceroos Head Coach, Australia started down a path which has not come about by accident and we now find ourselves 8 years further on with Pim Verbeek who also is a Dutchman as the current National Coach, with an outstanding record to date, with our consecutive entry to the World Cup on track. The FFA believes in the methodology of the Dutch system and with this is mind they have appointed other coaches from Holland in the highest positions within the sport. The current FFA National Technical Director Han Berger and the newly appointed Australian Institute of Sport Head Coach is Jan Vesleijen.
Like the eminent people mentioned above we at Fast Feet would also like to incorporate and share the values of the KNVB vision, here on the Gold Coast. Combine the technical, tactical and organization of the Dutch regime with the Australian psychology: "Unbeatable" Gary Andy and Mark have drawn on over 50 years of Football and Sporting experience to develop the Fast Feet High performance and Now Tiger Feet programs but for the Fast Feet programs to continue the development of talent on the Gold Coast we need your support, support in the form of Numbers of players, it is essential to the programs growth. The Golden Years of Football development are 10 through to 16 years and its a fact that unless the fundamentals are in place by this time playing at a high level are almost impossible.
